New Logo launch 2014

Hi friends,

I am so excited. We just finished our new logo for the blog and the shop, today.

Drum roll please!!!

To celebrate the launch of our new logo, I have posted a competition on my facebook page. I want to reach 500 likes on my art page Art by Ansu within 5 days. If you help make that happen by liking the page, commenting on the new logo up on my art page (your comment should include what you think the logo represents) and also inviting more friends to like (tag their names in your comment), then you may just be the winner of a R500 gift pack including arty goodies and some art prints.

Next week I will be posting our personal story about the development of this special logo.

We are adding to the shop daily, so keep an eye out for new art and products. Please be patient as we are still in the starting up phase. I am working on the payment options so we can include Payfast. At the moment we only have the EFT option available.

Landscapes inside landscapes

Hi Friends,

This past month I had my very first exhibition in an art gallery. So exciting!

I have been working on a new range of artworks and I used 4 of my latest sketches for this exhibition.
After some hard work and hours in the studio the following paintings emerged from my heart.

Some elements represent the Western Cape, some elements represent the heart of the believing and praying women of South Africa for their families and homes and communities, some elements represent the Eastern Cape villages that my husband photographed when on a work trip some years back. I still have some ideas and two more sketches that need to be painted and finished.

I am in progress to upgrade the online shop so we will be able to add lots more products soon.

We have prints, calendars and greeting cards available but not yet uploaded to the shop. I have been able to upload at least two calendars and more will be coming soon.

Hello

Today we launch our online shop at last!

Ivytree has been part of my life since 2000 and has changed form along the years from a graphics company to the home for all my various creative projects and business ideas. Like any tree has different branches, so Ivytree Studio and online shop will host various branches of creative business projects. 

My love for paper and art will be combined in this venture so that I do not have to choose between all the wonderful ideas God has blessed me with. 

The long-term vision for the Studio is a physical shop and classroom as well as my personal art studio. I am starting off with an online shop and as it grows, things will change with it.

Art by Ansu: my personal fine art creations in Mixed Media

Happy Go Artsy: Art workshops, courses and events as well as products created by us

Gracelily Invitation Co.: Event stationary and decor design to be sold online

Other brands we will be hosting will include Lovely&Beautiful and Surita Brink fine art.
