DT brag post, double wedding layouts, Project Life and digistamps

Dear Paper friends,

This is the second in a series of posts about our Design Team so you can stay current with what they have been up to these past three months. This will be the second post in the series.

Next up:

Margie is our team member from Pretoria.

Margie is an all round artistic but also academic person. She is very organized and meticulous  in how she approaches her work and creative life. We met Margie at a local charity event held in Pretoria through the Pretoria Scrapbook Society in 2016 and loved her from the start.  She is a beautiful Christian mother of 3 and also a loving grandma.  We love her enthusiasm for scrapbooking, memory keeping, family genealogy and paper art in general.

These are some of her projects we love, but don't forget to hop over to her blog to see all she is up to.

Click here for Margie's blog.

Project 1:  Project Life - Namib desert

This was Margie's first try at Project Life and we think she did a great job with it. We design our Pretty Pocket Card pages with this type of Scrapbooking in mind and we hope that it will inspire you to try it out. Project Life can be incorporated easily with a traditional type layout as well. Let your imagination go wild.  It doesn't cost an arm and a leg and the result can be as simple or as detailed as you want.

Project 2:  P.S I love you Digistamp Card

Margie owns Digistamps for Joy and you can see her years of experience as a digistamp cardmaker in this card. Very cute little mouse.

Project 3:  Wedding Double Layout - "Lesli's Wedding"

Margie will only be posting this project to her blog on the 19th of April 2017, so don't forget to visit her blog again for this and other projects. We loved it so much we couldn't wait to share it any longer.

Read about what our next DT member is up to in an upcoming post as part of our DT series. Exciting stuff by Lisa-Marie!

Don't forget about our Online Paper Party coming up in April 2017.

When you visit our website here, you fill find the event info also under "Latest News" and a countdown has begun. Only 8 more days to go. Anyone who would still like to join us, can do so. We do have a couple more paper packs left, but unfortunately we won't be able to guarantee delivery in time for the event as we have past the deadline (11 April 2017). You can however still purchase your pack and follow the event on the day, so you receive also all the freebies we have planned for the attendees.

It is an "ONLINE" event and a first for us, but the idea is for everyone who is far and near, bound by family responsibilities, ill, tired or just in the mood for staying home and being creative on your own, to participate and celebrate with us. You will have the quiet of your craft studio/space but not the clutter and noise of a big event that can sometimes overwhelm the sensitive nature of artistic types.  Just take a break and treat yourself to some peace and quiet and safe interacting with new friends in faraway places.

We have loads planned from the cupcake challenge, prizes, general freebies to give away for interacting in the event, games, videos tutorials and more.

Please support us and join in as we celebrate our paper brand's first birthday. It has been an exciting journey with 5 big collections behind us and many more to come.

We have recently added new sections in our store with digital products and printable kits coming your way. We have launched a Kit club which we intend to grow over time and and also plan to launch lots of new projects we are working on currently.

Always check out our website for the latest news and updates. (PS: some maintenance and updates made recently) Stay connected on our Facebook page and please share your lovely projects with us in our Ivytree Studio Friends group on Facebook.  It is a private group for your security, but you can always ask to join.  You can engage with our DT and ask Ivytree Studio questions, join in the monthly challenges by sharing your projects and see what we are up to in general.

Just love the feel of new paper!

Hi there, paper lovers!

The winter chills are upon us here in sunny South Africa!

Despite the colder weather, we are hard at work in our little studio.

Don't you just love it when you have slaved away on a new idea or piece of work. Toiled and toiled. Lost sleep because you worked your way past late nights and early mornings. Creating and creating and at last one fine day you hold your end result in your hands. Well, this is how we feel today over here at Ivytree Studio.

After months of hard work, we finally hold our Hadeda Garden Collection in the palm of our hands. We can physically touch what we designed digitally. What a great feeling. If you are a paper lover like me, you just cannot withstand the excitement of new paper, pretty colors and ideas start to bloom in your mind of what you want to do with it.

Now the great CREATE begins! We will be featuring some handmade paper designs in the coming days. We hope to inspire you and give you fresh new ideas or revamp a couple of old ones. So come back and visit our blog to see what we are up to.

You can also start to order and buy this new paper collection directly from our online store. Shipping is also set up with Fastway courier's door to door service.

To encourage you to keep on visiting and supporting our Proudly South African store and products, we want to announce that we will be adding other product ranges to our store as well and it will include things like stencils and Silhouette cutting bundles that fit the paper ranges we bring out. With it we will have freeby days where we will be blessing some of our loyal customers with some lovey stuff.

Tell your friends and start shopping, people!

To share our excitement, here is the first of many images on the new paper collection. Hope you like it.

Please leave us some love and comments on this post. We would love to hear from you. You can even give us your bucket lists on what types of designs you would like to see us use this paper with. I'm thinking scrapbook layouts, project life layouts, card designs, home decor ideas and so on and so on .... ;)
